Fire Alarm System Semiannual Maintenance, Testing & Inspection Services

Code compliance Fire Alarm System Semiannual Maintenance is required!

Even though your fire alarm system is trouble free and fully functional and operational,

NFPA-72 mandates & requires that Semiannual testing and inspection be performed by certified fire alarm system technicians on your fire alarm system. This (Preventative) Maintenance ensures that the fire alarm life safety system is in tip-top condition!

Two (or more) of our knowledgeable and certified Fire Alarm Technicians will perform the Semiannual Maintenance by visually inspecting and operationally testing and documenting the following:

  • All initiating devices such as Manual Pull-Stations, Sprinkler Devices
  • All Smoke, Duct and Combo Detectors (cleaning & documenting)
  • All Visual Warning & Notification Appliances such as Horns, Strobes, Gongs, Bells and Remote Indicating Lamps
  • Central Station Connection
  • Standby, or back-up batteries
  • Fan, Purge & Damper Relays
  • Elevator Recall Relays
  • Amplifiers
  • Power Supplies
  • Remote Annunciators
  • Two-Way Voice Communication
  • Lamp & LEDs
  • Selector Switches
  • Microprocessors & Sub-System Interfaces
  • Input/Output Modules
  • Printers & CRT Video Displays

Further, our technicians will review all on-site service reports, logbooks, and documentation. 

A full, complete & comprehensive report will be provided. On-site Smoke Detector Log Books will be provided and filled out for each maintenance performed and signed by the Fire Alarm Technician(s).
