Fire Watch is a rapidly deployable, autonomous fire detection unit designed to monitor post‐hot work and fire hazards in areas without detection systems or if the existing system is impaired or out of service.
The Fire Watch unit incorporates Fike IR3‐HD explosion‐ proof, optical flame detectors that provide high immunity to false alarms and rapid detection of fires. When an event is detected, the unit will activate the onboard horn/strobe and send an email or SMS signal to alert plant personnel or first responders.
For indoor applications, onboard server‐based analytics can be included for monitoring the HD camera video for smoke, oil mist, reflected flame, and motion. The video analytics are based on Fike’s Video Analytics camera software.
Optional items can be added to the Fire Watch units at the time of order for applications with specialized environmental, detection, or reporting requirements. See Ordering Information for a description of the optional items.
