Honeywell’s 5821 is a versatile wireless device that can be configured to operate as either a standalone temperature sensor (Cold/Hot/Warm) and/or a remote temperature sensor (w T280R Probe) or flood detector (Note: When using a remote Flood Probe, Only “Cold” Temp Sensing Function will be Available). It is ideally suited for a wide range of applications including bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements. Room temperature is monitored at the device using the 5821’s internal sensor. Refrigerator or Freezer temperature is monitored remotely using the ADEMCO T280R temperature probe (Optional – Only one External Probe can be used at a time). Flood detection is monitored remotely using the included FP280 External Flood Probe. A separate 5821 is required for each external probe being used.
