The Notifier UDACT-2 is a Universal Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter designed to transmit fire alarm system events from compatible Notifier control panels to central station receivers over the public switched telephone network (PSTN). It supports dual telephone line connections for redundancy and communicates detailed alarm, supervisory, and system status signals to UL-listed monitoring receivers.
The UDACT-2 can be installed directly inside a compatible fire alarm control panel cabinet or mounted remotely in a dedicated enclosure. When used with the Notifier NCA-2 Network Control Annunciator, the communicator can report status from multiple panels across a NOTI•FIRE•NET network.
The device supports multiple industry-standard communication formats and can transmit detailed point or zone status information including fire alarms, supervisory conditions, system trouble events, AC loss, and low battery conditions. Programming and firmware updates are performed using VeriFire Tools software through the built-in USB interface.
