Description

The System Sensor DNR is an intelligent, non-relay photoelectric duct smoke detector housing designed for installation in HVAC duct systems. It utilizes integrated low-flow photoelectric sensing technology to detect smoke and combustion particles present in air moving through air handling systems.

The pivoting housing supports both square and rectangular footprints, allowing installation on round or rectangular ducts. A clear cover allows visual inspection, and a cover tamper feature signals a trouble condition if the cover is removed or improperly installed.

The DNR operates in airflow velocities from 100 to 4,000 ft/min and is rated for temperatures from -4°F to 158°F with humidity up to 95% non-condensing. It requires an addressable photoelectric detector head (sold separately) and connects via communication line power only.
