Description
This addressable relay module allows Silent Knight IFP-series fire alarm control panels to switch discrete contacts by code command on a two-wire SLC loop. It contains two isolated sets of Form C contacts operating as a DPDT switch, supporting virtually any normally-open or normally-closed application. The relay contacts are not supervised by the module, and programming is fully flexible, each relay can be mapped to specific zone conditions at the panel.
Each IDP-Relay is assigned a unique SLC loop address using built-in rotary switches. The module is powered by the SLC loop at 15–32 VDC, drawing 255 μA in standby. A panel-controlled LED flashes green during normal communication and latches solid red in alarm, visible through the ivory cover plate. When non-power-limited wiring is connected to terminals 4–10, the CB500 Module Barrier is required to meet UL separation requirements.
The module mounts to a standard 4″ square electrical box (minimum 2⅛” deep) or to the optional SMB500 surface-mount box. It is compatible with the Silent Knight IFP-2000, IFP-2000ECS, IFP-1000/ECS, IFP-100/ECS, IFP-50, and IFP-25 panels.
