Model RIBMNLB-4NO combines a common relay-logic function into a small, easy-to-install, and less expensive form.
A master relay will open if any one of the normally-closed (N/C) inputs open. There are four inputs. LED status of all inputs, the master relay, and power input is provided. Bypass of un-used inputs is also provided. Mounting track is provided for mounting in user-provided electrical enclosures.
The master relay has two general-purpose outputs: both can be jumper selected at 24 V (sourced from input) or dry contact. The most common application is an Air Handling Unit (AHU) fan-safety-shutdown where the master relay is used to shutdown the fan. Contact closure outputs are provided so that a DDC controller can determine the cause of a shutdown.

• Removable terminal connections make it easier to make terminations. Input safeties/status outputs can easily be moved from one alarm input relay to a different alarm input relay, if needed. Removable terminals provide better conductor isolation from other board components greatly reducing the possibility of accidental shorts during the termination process.
• The updated relay board can provide 2 dry contacts, eliminating the need for extra relays.
• The status output contact of the alarm input relay is N/O. This provides a fail safe signal to the control panel. The control panel will know if a safety trips or if a wiring circuit is open.
• If an alarm input relay is bypassed, the coil is not continually energized. If an alarm input relay should fail, and there is a spare alarm input relay, then the failed relay can be bypassed and the alarm input moved to the spare.
