Description

The Talentum Test Torch is a test and calibration unit designed to work with the full range of Talentum Flame Detectors. Using the intuitive menu, choose the type of Flame Detector to be tested, squeeze the trigger and the Talentum Test Torch will automatically perform a test from a distance of up to 6 metres, which means that in many applications, the Flame Detector can be tested from ground level. The Talentum Test Torch recreates the characteristic spectrum of a flame using a combination of UV and IR bulbs. In addition to the testing functionality, the Test Torch can recalibrate a Talentum Flame Detector. Connect the Calibration Kit (sold separately or order 1800-012 to upgrade) between the Test Torch and the front of the flame detector and follow the menu to recalibrate the flame detector in the field. The Talentum Test Torch’s integral battery is recharged via USB from either a PC or off the shelf USB charger.

Equipment must be returned within (30) days of the date it was shipped, or made ready for pickup. In order to initiate a return, you must contact our sales team via email at [email protected] to receive an RMA # if it meets all criteria. Products returned after (30) days from our shipment date will be refused. After RMA acceptance, any parts that are returned to FireAlarm.com are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee.

New parts must be returned with original packaging, in un-opened, and uninstalled condition. If not, these parts may be subject to increased restocking fees or refusal. Depending on the circumstances of your order, and if you are a long-time customer of FireAlarm.com, other arrangements can be made.
