The Simplex 2099-9754 is a non-addressable single-action manual fire alarm station designed for general fire alarm system applications. Activation occurs by pulling the lever downward, which latches the station into the alarm position and activates the internal switch to signal the fire alarm control panel.
A plastic break-rod is supplied (optional) to provide a visual deterrent to vandalism without affecting normal operation. When used, the break-rod breaks during activation and must be replaced when the station is reset. The station includes a tamper-resistant key lock reset mechanism keyed the same as standard Simplex fire alarm cabinets.
The pull lever remains extended when activated to provide a clear visual alarm indication. The station is constructed from high-impact polycarbonate and supports surface or semi-flush mounting using compatible backboxes or adapter kits. This model is UL listed to UL 38 and is suitable for indoor installations.
