The Simplex 4099-9004 is an individually addressable single action manual fire alarm station designed for use on IDNet or MAPNET II signaling line circuits. Power and communications are supplied over a single wire pair, and each station occupies one SLC address.
Activation requires a firm downward pull of the lever, which latches in the alarm position and remains visibly extended. A plastic break-rod is supplied (optional use) to provide tamper deterrence without interfering with required pull force. Reset is accomplished with a Simplex “B” key.
The station includes a visible LED indicator that flashes during normal communications and remains steady when activated. Addressing is set via an 8-position DIP switch. The housing is constructed of red Lexan polycarbonate with white raised lettering and a white pull lever.
