The Fike 63-1060 is a six-inch flangeless mounting base with built-in short circuit isolation for use with Fike intelligent plug-in detectors. It is designed specifically for CyberCat® and Cheetah® Xi addressable systems.
This model includes integral short circuit isolation to support NFPA 72 Class X wiring applications. In the event of a wiring short, the base isolates the affected segment to maintain system integrity. The base mounts directly to standard North American electrical boxes, including 3½-inch and 4-inch octagon boxes, 4-inch square boxes (with or without plaster ring), and single gang boxes.
With a 6.1-inch diameter, the base provides extended surface coverage beyond the detector head, making it suitable for retrofit and surface-mount installations. It also includes terminals for connection of an optional remote LED annunciator (P/N 02-3868).
