Opt-Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS marketing messages, but you may still receive service-related or transactional messages if necessary.

This Addendum supplements the FireAlarm.com Privacy Policy and applies specifically to members of FireAlarm.com PLUS. All terms of the main Privacy Policy continue to apply. In the event of any conflict, this Addendum controls with respect to Membership data.

  1. Additional Information We Collect from Members

 

When you enroll in and use FireAlarm.com PLUS, we collect, in addition to the information described in our main Privacy Policy: 

  • Subscription Information: enrollment date, trial status, billing cycle, payment status, and cancellation/reactivation history.
  • AI Interaction Data: the questions you submit to FireAlarm.com AI, the responses generated, timestamps, and associated usage metadata (e.g., session length, refused queries, escalation requests).
  • Consulting Escalation Requests: any information you submit when requesting escalated review by Wayne D. Moore.
 
 
  1. How We Use Membership Data

 

We use Membership data to: (a) operate your subscription and process billing; (b) provide and improve FireAlarm.com AI responses; (c) route escalation requests to the appropriate experts; (d) prevent fraud and abuse; (e) send you Membership-related communications (renewal notices, cancellation confirmations, price-change notices, service updates); and (f) maintain records required for legal, regulatory, and compliance purposes, including subscription consent records.

 

 

  1. FireAlarm.com AI — Important Disclosures
 
  • Closed Knowledge Base. FireAlarm.com AI retrieves responses from a curated database of fire and life safety questions and answers authored by Wayne D. Moore. It does not access the open internet to answer your questions.
  • No Training on Your Prompts. Your prompts and the AI’s responses are not used to train any third-party AI model.
  • Third-Party AI Processor. To deliver FireAlarm.com AI, we use a third-party AI service provider under a written data-processing agreement that restricts the provider’s use of your data to operating the service. We do not sell your prompts or AI interaction data.
  • Do Not Submit Sensitive or Confidential Information. Please do not submit personally identifying information, client data, confidential project documents, or any information you are not authorized to share. Treat FireAlarm.com AI as you would a professional reference resource.
 
 
  1. Data Retention

 

We retain Membership data for as long as your Membership is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and consumer-protection recordkeeping obligations (including subscription consent and cancellation records). You may request deletion of your AI interaction history at any time by contacting [email protected], subject to legal retention requirements.

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses of your data.
