The Air Products and Controls PAM-SD Relay Module is an encapsulated supervised relay designed for remote control or status monitoring in fire alarm and building automation applications. The module is part of the PAM Series of multi-voltage relay modules and is specifically optimized for 24 VDC notification appliance circuits (NACs).
The module provides Form-C (SPDT) dry contacts rated at 7 A, allowing it to switch or monitor external circuits such as notification appliances, HVAC equipment, or other control devices. The PAM-SD is energized using a 20 – 32 VDC input, making it well suited for integration with fire alarm NAC outputs or other supervised 24 VDC circuits.
Unlike other PAM series relays, the PAM-SD includes additional wiring leads that allow circuit supervision pass-through, enabling installation within supervised NAC circuits while maintaining system monitoring integrity.
The relay module is fully encapsulated for reliability and durability and is supplied with flying leads, mounting hardware, and installation accessories for flexible installation in electrical enclosures or equipment cabinets.
