The Bosch D9127U is a POPIT (Point of Protection Input Terminal) input module designed to expand the number of addressable points on compatible Bosch control panels. It provides point identification of initiating devices and supervises wiring for circuit integrity over a two-wire data expansion loop.
The D9127U is used in conjunction with a D8125 or B299 Addressable Expansion Module (POPEX). Multiple D9127 modules can be wired in parallel along the expansion loop to economically increase system capacity. Address assignment is accomplished using onboard DIP switches.
Each module supervises a sensor loop terminated with a 33 kΩ end-of-line resistor (included). The unit is compact and mounts in standard outlet boxes, above ceilings, closets, or other accessible locations.
The D9127U version does not include a magnetic tamper switch (the tamper-equipped version is D9127T).
