The Det-Tronics PointWatch Eclipse Infrared Hydrocarbon Gas Detector is a diffusion-based combustible gas detector designed for continuous monitoring of flammable hydrocarbon gases from 0 to 100% Lower Explosive Limit (LEL). The detector utilizes infrared sensing technology and is intended for industrial environments requiring reliable fixed-point gas detection.

Designed for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities, petrochemical plants, processing facilities, and other hydrocarbon applications, the PointWatch Eclipse combines infrared detection technology with stainless steel construction, heated sapphire optics, and integrated diagnostics to support long-term operation in demanding environments.

The detector provides standard 4–20 mA analog output with HART communication, along with RS-485 communication supporting MODBUS and ASCII protocols. Field-selectable gas algorithms allow monitoring of methane, ethane, propane, butane, ethylene, and propylene, with additional hydrocarbon gases configurable through digital communication tools.

Equipment must be returned within (30) days of the date it was shipped, or made ready for pickup. In order to initiate a return, you must contact our sales team via email at [email protected] to receive an RMA # if it meets all criteria. Products returned after (30) days from our shipment date will be refused. After RMA acceptance, any parts that are returned to FireAlarm.com are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee.

New parts must be returned with original packaging, in un-opened, and uninstalled condition. If not, these parts may be subject to increased restocking fees or refusal. Depending on the circumstances of your order, and if you are a long-time customer of FireAlarm.com, other arrangements can be made.
