The Edwards EST SIGA-PS is an intelligent addressable photoelectric smoke detector designed for use on Signature data loops with compatible Signature Loop Controllers. The detector gathers analog data from its photoelectric sensing chamber and converts it to digital signals processed by an onboard microprocessor.
The microprocessor analyzes signal patterns against historical data to make alarm decisions while applying digital filtering to reduce nuisance alarms. Each detector includes self-diagnostics, a non-volatile history log, automatic device mapping, and stable loop communication.
The SIGA-PS is engineered for commercial fire alarm applications and is compatible only with Edwards Signature loop systems. It mounts to compatible Signature Series detector bases (sold separately).
