This switch is designed to be installed external and directly adjacent to the host fire alarm control panel. The switch is mounted to a polished steel faceplate, suitable for mounting to a 4 in. (10.16 cm) square, double‐gang box. The switch provides two (2) normally open contact blocks for connection of field wiring. This option requires installation of one (1) monitor module and one (1) relay module, both sold separately. Upon activation of the switch, the monitor module will activate, triggering the activation of the relay module, which will disconnect the municipal fire alarm box from the system.
