Description
The Gamewell-FCI PID-95P Point Identification Device is an addressable input module designed to interface dry-contact devices with Gamewell-FCI fire alarm control panels. It allows conventional initiating devices such as waterflow switches or manual stations to be monitored and individually identified on an analog signaling line circuit (SLC).
The module connects directly to the SLC using a two-wire circuit and supervises a normally-open dry contact input. When the connected device activates, the PID-95P reports its programmed address to the fire alarm control panel, enabling precise event identification and system response.
The PID-95P is supplied as a plate-mounted version for installation in a double-gang or 4-inch square backbox, supporting both surface and flush mounting applications. It includes a status LED for alarm annunciation, providing local visual indication of activation.
Designed for use with Gamewell-FCI addressable systems, the device is field-programmable via DIP switches and supports priority interrupt functionality. Its use reduces field wiring complexity by enabling distributed monitoring of contact devices directly on the SLC loop.
