The Honeywell TC809A1059 is a FlashScan intelligent addressable monitor module designed for use with compatible Honeywell fire alarm control panels. It supervises a circuit of normally open dry-contact initiating devices such as manual pull stations, waterflow switches, conventional heat detectors, or other alarm and supervisory contacts.
The TC809A supports both NFPA Style D (Class A) and Style B (Class B) Initiating Device Circuits (IDC). It mounts to a standard 4-inch square electrical box and is powered directly from the two-wire SLC loop, requiring no additional external power.
Addressing is accomplished via built-in rotary switches for precise point identification (01–159 on FlashScan loops; 01–99 on CLIP loops). The module includes a panel-controlled LED that flashes green during normal communication (programmable) and latches steady red on alarm.
FlashScan protocol enhances system response speed by grouping device communications and prioritizing new event reporting.
