The Johnson Controls 2951J is an intelligent, low-profile, plug-in photoelectric smoke detector designed for use with compatible Johnson Controls fire alarm control panels (FACP). It provides addressable-analog communication over a two-wire Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) and supports both FlashScan and classic CLIP protocols.
Detector sensitivity is programmable through the control panel software and is continuously monitored and reported. Point ID capability is provided through rotary decimal address switches, allowing precise device location for maintenance. The optical sensing chamber is engineered to detect smoke from a wide range of combustion sources.
The detector features dual bi-color LEDs with 360° visibility and supports remote test functionality from the panel. It mounts to a compatible base (sold separately).
