The Johnson Controls J2351 is an intelligent plug-in photoelectric smoke detector designed for commercial fire alarm systems utilizing a Signaling Line Circuit (SLC). It features programmable sensitivity through the control panel and continuous sensitivity monitoring for improved maintenance visibility.

The detector utilizes rotary decimal addressing for precise point identification and supports remote test functionality through panel commands or a local magnet test. It is engineered with an enhanced optical sensing chamber to detect smoke from a broad range of combustion sources while maintaining compliance with UL 268 7th Edition requirements.

The J2351 plugs into a compatible intelligent detector base (ordered separately), allowing simplified installation, service, and interchangeability with other sensor types.

Equipment must be returned within (30) days of the date it was shipped, or made ready for pickup. In order to initiate a return, you must contact our sales team via email at [email protected] to receive an RMA # if it meets all criteria. Products returned after (30) days from our shipment date will be refused. After RMA acceptance, any parts that are returned to FireAlarm.com are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee.

New parts must be returned with original packaging, in un-opened, and uninstalled condition. If not, these parts may be subject to increased restocking fees or refusal. Depending on the circumstances of your order, and if you are a long-time customer of FireAlarm.com, other arrangements can be made.
