The Johnson Controls J2351-IV is a low-profile, intelligent addressable photoelectric smoke detector designed for use on compatible FlashScan and CLIP protocol signaling line circuits (SLC). It provides advanced optical sensing in a modern, contemporary housing and serves as a direct replacement for the 2951J Series.
The J2351-IV features programmable sensitivity settings configured through the control panel software. Detector sensitivity is continuously monitored and reported to the panel, supporting proactive maintenance and chamber contamination tracking. Rotary decimal address switches allow precise point identification for simplified commissioning and service.
The detector plugs into a separate intelligent base, enabling flexible installation and interchangeability with photoelectric, ionization, and thermal sensors. A built-in functional test switch activated by an external magnet supports field verification without removing the unit.
