Description
The odorizer assembly injects a scent of wintergreen into the carbon dioxide during a discharge. Upon discharge, the carbon dioxide pressure ruptures a burst disc to release the scent of wintergreen. This scent warns personnel in the vicinity of the area protected by the fire suppression system that carbon dioxide gas is present. An odorizer assembly is required for each USCG (marine) CO2 system.
