The Kidde GSA-CR Control Relay Module is an intelligent addressable output module designed for use with Kidde Signature Series fire alarm systems. It provides one Form C dry contact relay that activates when commanded by the system controller, allowing the fire alarm system to control external equipment. The module occupies a single address on the signaling line circuit (SLC) and receives its address electronically from the loop controller.
The relay output can be used to control devices such as door closers, fans, dampers, or other building equipment that must be activated or shut down during a fire alarm event.
