The Mircom MIX-M501M is an intelligent addressable mini monitor module designed to interface and supervise contact devices within Mircom PRO-2000 Series intelligent fire alarm systems. Its compact form factor allows installation inside devices or standard junction boxes behind initiating devices, making it ideal for retrofit and space-constrained applications.
The MIX-M501M provides supervised monitoring of contact devices such as security contacts, waterflow switches, pull stations, and alarm or trouble contacts from conventional 4-wire smoke detectors. It transmits the supervised state (normal, open, or short) along with full analog supervision measurements to the control panel, enabling detection of impedance changes in the initiating loop.
Addressing is accomplished using rotary code switches, and the module communicates via analog signaling over the system loop. Unlike the full-size MIX-M500M, the MIX-M501M does not include a panel-controlled status LED.
