The Protectowire PHSC-190-LSZH-M-500 is a fixed-temperature digital linear heat detector designed to initiate an alarm at 190°F (88°C). It provides continuous line-type heat detection with point sensitivity along the entire cable length. This model features a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer jacket suitable for commercial and industrial applications where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required. The “-M” suffix designates a factory-installed high tensile strength 316 stainless steel messenger wire, wound around the detector at approximately one turn per foot, simplifying suspended installations where direct mounting is not practical. Per the manufacturer’s messenger wire data sheet (Page 1), maximum detector run length between turnbuckles must not exceed 250 ft (76 m), and intermediate supports are required at 15–50 ft intervals, never exceeding 50 ft. Outdoor installations require closer support spacing due to environmental loading. The “-500” suffix indicates a 500 ft cable length. Return Details

Equipment must be returned within (30) days of the date it was shipped, or made ready for pickup. In order to initiate a return, you must contact our sales team via email at [email protected] to receive an RMA # if it meets all criteria. Products returned after (30) days from our shipment date will be refused. After RMA acceptance, any parts that are returned to FireAlarm.com are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee.

New parts must be returned with original packaging, in un-opened, and uninstalled condition. If not, these parts may be subject to increased restocking fees or refusal. Depending on the circumstances of your order, and if you are a long-time customer of FireAlarm.com, other arrangements can be made.
