Description
The thermal fire detector is of fixed-temperature type, and is designed for plug-in use with the standard Fire Safety Series 11 detector base. Since the thermal fire detector’s element is self-restoring, the thermal fire detector’s electronics will lock in once the alarm triggers. Therefore, the detector must be reset at the control panel. The temperature rating for the thermal fire detector is 135°F (58°C). A lamp is located on the base of the detector to indicate initiation of an alarm.
