Description
Thermal Fire Detectors (DT-135WP and DT-200WP) from Siemens Fire Safety are of the rate-compensation / fixed-temperature type, and are designed for use with either standard Fire Safety systems or other commercially available fire-alarm systems. The detector element for Models DT-135WP and DT-200WP is self-restoring after operation, and is supplied in ratings of 135°F (57.2°C) and 194°F (90°C). Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. recommends the Fire Safety Thermal Fire Detectors be used to protect a maximum of 2,500 square feet. However, job conditions and sound engineering judgment often dictate closer spacing to provide faster detection.
