The Silent Knight IDP-MINIMON Miniature Monitor Module is an addressable interface module designed to connect conventional contact devices to compatible Silent Knight intelligent fire alarm control panels. The module allows the control panel to supervise and monitor the status of external devices such as waterflow switches, manual pull stations, and other contact-based initiating devices.
Its compact and lightweight design allows the module to be installed directly behind the monitored device inside a standard single-gang electrical box. This simplifies wiring and helps reduce installation space requirements in retrofit or space-constrained installations.
The IDP-MINIMON communicates with the fire alarm control panel using analog addressable communication and includes rotary address switches for quick and accurate device addressing during installation. The module supports Class B supervised initiating device circuits and can also monitor conventional 4-wire smoke detectors for alarm and trouble conditions.
