The Simplex 4090-9002 Relay Individual Addressable Module (IAM) provides a single Form C (SPDT) dry contact controlled and monitored over the IDNet communication channel. It allows compatible Simplex fire alarm control panels to operate remote control functions such as elevator capture, HVAC shutdown, fan control, dampers, and other auxiliary equipment.
The module uses IDNet communications for both data and operating power, reducing wiring complexity. It reports relay status back to the control panel and automatically defaults to OFF upon initial power-up or loss of IDNet communication. The compact, sealed design mounts in a standard 4-inch square electrical box and includes a visible LED for communication status indication.
