Description

The Simplex 4098-9774 is a TrueAlarm analog addressable photoelectric smoke sensor in a black finish, designed for use with compatible Simplex IDNet or MAPNET II addressable fire alarm systems. It digitally transmits analog sensor values to the host control panel for continuous evaluation and automatic sensitivity compensation.

Sensitivity is selected and managed at the control panel, allowing application-specific adjustment and NFPA 72 sensitivity testing compliance. The control panel also provides peak value logging and automatic environmental compensation to reduce nuisance alarms caused by dust and aging.

The sensor provides 360° smoke entry, EMI/RFI shielding, and a magnetically activated functional test feature. It mounts to compatible 4098-series TrueAlarm sensor bases (sold separately).
