Description

The Simplex 4098-9792 is a standard TrueAlarm addressable sensor base designed for use with compatible Simplex TrueAlarm photoelectric and heat sensors. It provides integral addressable electronics and communicates over IDNet or MAPNET II two-wire circuits, obtaining both power and data from the communications loop.

The base supports interchangeable sensor heads, allowing substitution of photoelectric or heat sensors without reprogramming the control unit. Address selection is accomplished via DIP switches accessible under the sensor head, and the address remains associated with the base location.

The 4098-9792 mounts to standard electrical boxes and includes an integral red LED that pulses during communication and latches steady on alarm or trouble as commanded by the control unit.

Equipment must be returned within (30) days of the date it was shipped, or made ready for pickup. In order to initiate a return, you must contact our sales team via email at [email protected] to receive an RMA # if it meets all criteria. Products returned after (30) days from our shipment date will be refused. After RMA acceptance, any parts that are returned to FireAlarm.com are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee.

New parts must be returned with original packaging, in un-opened, and uninstalled condition. If not, these parts may be subject to increased restocking fees or refusal. Depending on the circumstances of your order, and if you are a long-time customer of FireAlarm.com, other arrangements can be made.
