The Simplex 4903-9425 TrueAlert Horn/Strobe is a non-addressable audible and visible notification appliance designed for fire alarm systems requiring combined horn and strobe signaling. This model integrates a piezoelectric electronic horn and high-intensity xenon strobe in a compact wall-mounted unit. It operates on a conventional 24 VDC notification appliance circuit (NAC) and uses polarized inputs for supervised wiring on reverse-polarity fire alarm circuits.
The appliance supports free-run or synchronized strobe operation, selectable using an onboard switch. When synchronization is enabled, strobe flashing can be coordinated using compatible Simplex synchronization modules or supported fire alarm control panels. The horn produces a harmonically rich output suitable for continuous or coded signaling depending on NAC control configuration.
