The Simplex 49SV-APPLW-O is a weatherproof TrueAlert ES addressable speaker/visible (S/V) notification appliance designed for wall-mounted fire alarm signaling in outdoor or wet environments. It integrates an addressable strobe with a high-quality speaker, allowing both visual and audible emergency notification from a single device.
The appliance communicates over the Simplex IDNAC signaling line circuit (SLC), allowing individual device addressing, power, and control from the fire alarm control unit. Audio signaling is provided through a separate compatible fire alarm audio NAC circuit.
Designed for flexible installation, the device mounts to a standard 4-inch electrical box or compatible weatherproof back box and supports selectable candela settings and multiple speaker power taps. The housing is constructed from rugged flame-retardant thermoplastic for durability in demanding environments. Covers, mounting plates, and back boxes are ordered separately to support various installation configurations.
