The System Sensor DST3 Sampling Tube is an HVAC duct smoke detector accessory used to draw air from inside ventilation ducts into compatible duct smoke detectors for monitoring smoke conditions.
The sampling tube installs directly into the duct smoke detector housing and extends across the duct to collect air samples as airflow passes through the HVAC system. This allows the detector to monitor air movement inside the duct and identify smoke that may indicate a developing fire.
The DST3 is designed for use with System Sensor conventional and intelligent duct smoke detectors and is specifically sized for ducts 2 to 4 feet (0.6 to 1.2 meters) wide. The tube can be installed from the front or back of the detector housing and locks securely in place using the detector’s integrated mounting system.
