The Wheelock Fire Alarm Horn Strobe Light (White, Low Frequency) 24V 117 CD LFHSHR3 Exceder is designed to meet the NFPA requirements, making it one of the best fire alarms and CO alarms for sleeping rooms and other quiet environments in the industry.

With its high-efficiency LEDs, the Exceder LED3 notification appliances feature the industry’s lowest current draw, which reduces overall power consumption, allowing for a greater number of appliances on the NAC and fewer power supplies, resulting in material and system cost savings.

The Wheelock Exceder LED3 strobes meet the 20 millisecond light pulse duration requirements of NFPA 72 2016. Therefore, the Exceder LED3 line has been listed by UL to allow mixing of Wheelock xenon devices in the same field of view. With the Exceder LED3 line, Eaton now offers a full range of low and high candela appliances with its other product lines, ideal for both retrofits and new construction.

With the Exceder LED3 low frequency sounder line, organizations can now meet both sleeping room codes – NFPA 72 and NFPA 720 – with one device, which features two different sound patterns, T3 for fire detection and T4 for CO. The low frequency sounders can replace a facility’s existing appliances, utilizing the same single pair of wires that are currently installed, offering a simple retrofit to meet new codes for sleeping rooms.
