Description
The Xtralis LT-SEN-MOS Li-ion Tamer Sensor Multi Output Solution is a lithium-ion battery monitoring device designed to detect hydrogen and battery electrolyte solvent vapours generated during early-stage battery failure. The system provides early warning of thermal runaway conditions by identifying off-gassing events before catastrophic failure occurs.
The LT-SEN-MOS consists of two primary components: an off-gas sensor (LT-SEN-M) and an interface module (LT-SEN-IM-UL). The off-gas sensor utilizes onboard detection algorithms and is calibration-free, offering long-term stability and a service life comparable to typical battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The interface module provides three relay outputs and Modbus or CANbus communication, enabling integration with ventilation systems, electrical isolation systems, and facility monitoring controls. The device is intended to be integrated into a broader safety system and is not a standalone fire prevention device.
