The Siemens OP921 is an intelligent, addressable photoelectric smoke detector designed for use with Cerberus PRO and compatible Siemens fire alarm control panels. It incorporates built-in ISOtechnology to support optional True Class-X SLC operation, enhancing loop integrity and advanced fault isolation capabilities.
The detector utilizes microprocessor-based signal processing with an infrared LED light-scattering optical chamber for stable and accurate smoke detection. Four field-selectable sensitivity application profiles (Sensitive, Standard, Robust, and Air-Duct) allow configuration to match environmental conditions.
The OP921 is a plug-in, two-wire device compatible with DB-11 series mounting bases and features SureWire polarity-insensitive wiring. A tri-color 360° LED provides clear visual indication of detector status. Each detector occupies a single SLC address and is UL 268 7th Edition listed for open-area detection and UL 268A listed for direct-in-duct applications.
