Description
The Apollo 55000-450APO XP95A Heat Detector is an addressable heat detector designed for intelligent fire alarm systems using Apollo XP95, Discovery, and CoreProtocol communication protocols. The detector measures temperature using an electronic thermistor sensor that outputs a voltage proportional to the surrounding air temperature, allowing the control panel to evaluate alarm conditions.
This detector is particularly suited for environments where smoke detectors may produce nuisance alarms, such as warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, or other spaces where dust, fumes, or steam may be present under normal operating conditions. Its thermistor-based sensing technology provides reliable heat detection while maintaining stable performance in demanding industrial or commercial environments.
The device connects to the addressable loop using a two-wire digital communication circuit that carries both power and data. Addressing is configured using an XPERT 7 addressing card, enabling the control panel to uniquely identify each device on the loop.
The detector features a low-profile housing and is compatible with standard 4-inch or 6-inch detector bases, providing flexible installation options while maintaining consistent aesthetics with other Apollo detectors in the XP95 series.
