The Apollo SA5000-230APO is a 6-inch mounting base designed for use with Apollo Soteria UL and XP95A addressable detectors. The base provides electrical and mechanical connection between the detector head and the signaling line circuit (SLC) wiring.
The base supports installation in both new systems and retrofit applications. It includes terminals for loop wiring and optional remote LED connection and supports system addressing through the XPERT 8 addressing card used with compatible detectors and control panels. The base wiring supports loop-in and loop-out connections and allows isolator bypass configurations when required.
The SA5000-230APO mounts to standard electrical boxes and must be installed in accordance with applicable NFPA standards and local codes. Recommended installation includes 3-inch octagonal boxes or compatible 4-inch boxes with listed mounting brackets.
