Description
The Fire-Lite BG-12LX Addressable Manual Pull Station is a dual-action manual fire alarm initiating device designed for use with Fire-Lite addressable fire alarm control panels. Because the station is addressable, the control panel can identify the exact location of an activated pull station, allowing emergency personnel to respond quickly to the alarm source.
The device uses a push-in and pull-down dual-action mechanism that helps prevent accidental activation while providing clear operation instructions on the front of the unit. When activated, the handle latches in the down position and displays the word “ACTIVATED”, providing a clear visual indication that the station has been operated.
A built-in bi-color LED indicator flashes during normal operation and latches steady red when the station is in alarm. The station can be opened with a key for inspection, testing, and address configuration without initiating an alarm condition. Two rotary decimal switches allow technicians to easily assign the device address on the signaling line circuit (SLC).
The BG-12LX is constructed from durable red polycarbonate with a textured finish and can be surface-mounted using a compatible backbox or semi-flush mounted to a standard electrical box. The design also includes Braille text on the handle and meets ADA requirements for activation force and accessibility.
