Description

The Kidde DS-SB is a standard detector mounting base designed for use with Kidde Fire Systems DS Series and compatible SmartOne addressable smoke detectors. It connects the detector head to the SmartOne Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) and provides accessible room-side wiring terminals for simplified installation and servicing.

The DS-SB base is a 4-inch diameter mounting base supplied with a 6-inch trim ring to conceal surface imperfections around the electrical box. It supports Class B (Style 4) wiring configurations and is not polarity sensitive. An optional locking feature prevents unauthorized removal of the detector head.

The DS-SB is compatible with SmartOne protocol control units and supports optional remote LED indication where applicable with compatible detector models.

Return Details

Equipment must be returned within (30) days of the date it was shipped, or made ready for pickup. In order to initiate a return, you must contact our sales team via email at [email protected] to receive an RMA # if it meets all criteria. Products returned after (30) days from our shipment date will be refused. After RMA acceptance, any parts that are returned to FireAlarm.com are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee.

New parts must be returned with original packaging, in un-opened, and uninstalled condition. If not, these parts may be subject to increased restocking fees or refusal. Depending on the circumstances of your order, and if you are a long-time customer of FireAlarm.com, other arrangements can be made.
