The Notifier FSP-851R is a low-profile intelligent addressable photoelectric smoke detector designed for use with Notifier FlashScan and CLIP protocol fire alarm control panels. This model includes remote test capability and is specifically intended for installation within DNR(A)/DNRW duct detector housings.
The FSP-851R features analog addressable communication with programmable sensitivity set at the control panel. Detector sensitivity is continuously monitored and reported to the panel, enabling precise maintenance and drift compensation management. Rotary decimal address switches allow exact point identification for streamlined commissioning and service.
Dual bi-color LEDs provide 360° visibility, blinking green during polling and latching steady red in alarm (FlashScan systems). The unit includes a built-in magnet-activated test switch and tamper-resistant design. It is UL listed for duct applications with a velocity rating up to 4,000 ft/min.
