Description
The Notifier NBG-12L is a non-coded conventional manual fire alarm pull station designed to initiate an alarm signal on a fire alarm control panel’s initiating device circuit (IDC). It is part of the NBG-12 Series and is intended for use with conventional fire alarm control panels and compatible transponders.
The device uses a dual-action activation method requiring the operator to push the handle inward and then pull it down to initiate the alarm. Once activated, the handle latches in the down position and displays a visible “ACTIVATED” indicator. The station is reset by inserting the supplied key, turning it a quarter turn, and opening the cover, which returns the handle and alarm switch to the normal position.
The NBG-12L is constructed from molded polycarbonate and includes molded operating instructions, directional arrows, and Braille text on the handle. It can be surface-mounted to a compatible backbox or semi-flush mounted to standard electrical boxes, providing installation flexibility for new or retrofit systems.
