The Simplex 4906-9130 is a non-addressable TrueAlert multi-candela audible/visible (A/V) notification appliance designed for ceiling mounting. It combines a 24 VDC electronic horn and a high-output xenon strobe, operating over a SmartSync two-wire circuit for synchronized flash and independent horn control.
Using SmartSync technology, both horn and strobe operate on the same two-wire NAC, allowing the horn to be silenced while the strobe remains active (on-until-reset). The horn supports Temporal pattern, 60 BPM March Time pattern, or continuous operation, while the strobe flashes at a synchronized 1 Hz rate.
The strobe intensity is field-selectable (15, 30, 75, or 110 candela) via a rear-mounted selection plug, minimizing inventory requirements and allowing on-site adjustments to meet application and code requirements. The housing is constructed of rugged, flame-retardant thermoplastic and is available in white with red “FIRE” lettering for this model configuration.
