The Simplex 4906-9154 is a non-addressable TrueAlert multi-candela ceiling-mount speaker/strobe (S/V) notification appliance. It combines a multi-tapped 25 or 70.7 VRMS speaker with a synchronized 24 VDC xenon strobe in a single white ceiling-mounted housing with red “FIRE” lettering.
The strobe output is field-selectable at 15, 30, 75, or 110 candela using a rear selection plug. The speaker provides high-quality voice and tone reproduction with selectable wattage taps of 1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2 W. Strobes are compatible with Simplex synchronized NAC outputs or separate synchronization modules for Class A or Class B operation.
The 4906-9154 is UL 1480 listed for speaker operation and UL 1971 listed for visible notification. It is designed for installation to a 4-inch square or octagonal electrical box with extension and supports ADA-compliant installation when mounted per NFPA 72 guidelines.
