The Notifier FCO-951 is an advanced addressable multi-criteria detector from the IntelliQuad PLUS series designed to provide both fire detection and carbon monoxide (CO) detection within a single device. It integrates multiple sensing technologies—including photoelectric smoke, heat, carbon monoxide, and infrared light detection—to improve detection accuracy and reduce nuisance alarms.
By analyzing data from four sensing elements, the detector can more reliably distinguish real fire conditions from non-fire sources such as dust or theater smoke. The electrochemical CO sensor independently monitors carbon monoxide levels to provide life safety CO detection in addition to fire detection capability.
The detector communicates with compatible Notifier fire alarm control panels over the signaling line circuit (SLC) and occupies only one address on the loop. Advanced algorithms and automatic drift compensation continuously adjust sensor sensitivity to maintain reliable operation over time. The detector can also support RealTest CO testing and provides a 10-year CO cell with end-of-life notification.
