The SigniFire IP-Camera is a part of the SigniFire line of products. The camera is capable of detecting motion, unauthorized intrusion, flaming fires, smoke at an incipient stage, and even obstructed flames using the reflected light from the fire. The camera has a range of up to 100 ft away. Also, it can detect smoke independent of airflow in the area, providing a means of early detection even in areas where smoke may dissipate or drift away from the site of origin. The cameras are compatible with power over ethernet (POE), so they don’t require a dedicated power source. Additionally, you may use addressable modules to integrate your IP-Camera with your Fire Alarm Control Panel using the camera’s dry contact points. The FSM-IP video recorder is a scalable, network video recorder (NVR) with video management software. The FSM-IP acts as an event management server, and supports up to 32 SigniFire network cameras. It has customizable storage space, which it uses to store event logs. Also, the SigniFire IP system allows you to capture the origin of the fire and its movements during the fire event in real-time. At the same time, it captures an event log that includes the location of the fire, when it starts, and when it is no longer present in the zone. You can access archived events onsite, or from a remote location over the internet.
The FSM-8 can be used to extend your video analytics capabilities to a preinstalled CCTV camera system. It is capable of using the video footage to run the same algorithms used by the IP-Camera to detect motion, smoke, fire, reflected fire light, and intrusion. It supports 8 video channels, and is scalable, so you can add new units to the IP network.
