What Are Your Order Cancellation Policies?

You can cancel without penalty if the request is received before processing begins, usually within 24 hours of placing your order. Once processed or shipped, orders cannot be cancelled or modified without our prior written consent.

FireAlarm.com does not charge its own cancellation fee, but manufacturer or supplier fees may apply depending on the item:

  • In Stock Items: Cancel within the 24-hour window at no charge.
  • Back Order / Manufacturer-Sourced Items: Cancellation may be permitted, but any manufacturer or supplier cancellation/restocking fees will be passed through at cost. We’ll always inform you of the fees before processing. Cancelling also means losing your place in line for that equipment.
  • NCNR Items: “Special Order” or NCNR items cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once confirmed. We’ll always flag these before processing so you can opt out first.

If you ask us to hold material at our shipping hub and later cancel, any applicable manufacturer or supplier fees will be deducted from your refund.

FireAlarm.com-initiated cancellations: We may cancel orders due to pricing errors, product unavailability, or suspected fraud. No fees apply when we initiate the cancellation, or when it results from a FireAlarm.com error (wrong item, defective product, or missed shipping timeframe).For full cancellation details, see more.
