The DA-006 Field of View Restrictor is made for use with the D171 and D371 Flame Detectors. The view restrictor mounts with the two arms on the rear of the flame detector and is adjusted for the appropriate amount of restriction required. This unit can obscure up to 60 degrees of the Field of View. It is intended to reduce the field of view and block source from the lens of the detector such as false alarm triggers or flames that are part of the process but interfere with monitoring another adjacent location. Up to 3 FOV Shields can be combined to narrow the FOV down to 30 degrees. The FOV restrictor does not affect the sensitivity of the detectors but focuses the Flame Detector on the area to be protected.
